Ethereal is a project of Swedish-born Thai transgender solo artist Waritsara ‘Yui’ Karlberg. Released in October 2017, Distilled Pleasures is a haunting combination of ambient work and operatic singing.

The soundscapes are dark and evolving, the voice distant and subdued. It takes so little to send shivers down your spine, but that’s because the elements are put together masterfully.
