The Digital Music Revenue Shares Worldwide

The music industry has no brakes! Some data from a recent research by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), prove that the revenue from digital music in the world has risen with a merely 7% that marked a total of $6.85 billion for 2014.

music revenueThe key finding from this research is that the subscription services made a jump in the total global revenue to reach $1.57 billion compared to the previous period.

The revenue from digital music remained the positive growth on a global scale but that was due to the fact that the streaming revenue in music had a huge leap in growing and rose the whopping 52%.

The digital music revenue shares around the world are growing i percentages, however, the increase of the total music industry revenue wasn’t that big and the sales were just around $15 billion.

This on each turn does not scare the advertisers and marketers away. Actually the expansion of the digital will help the expansion of the music industry and marketer will most definitely take advantage of that.

The expansion and growth of the music revenue shares will drive more and more companies and advertisers invest in the music industry and drive even more music revenue shares.
