Everybody loves a good country ballad and Bill Treakle shares his latest one

Bill Treakle can be easily called a country music veteran. Based in Normal, Illinois he’s been involved in the country music game since 1971. No stranger to touring nor to writing music he’s equally impressive as a composer and multi-instrumentalist who’s playing the guitar, bass, and singing. We’re now taking a closer look at his latest single ‘I Will Always Love You’. It’s a slow-paced rock-influenced country ballad that sounds as sincere as the title suggests.

Yes, it’s a love song and that’s exactly unheard of in country but honestly, who doesn’t love a warm and heart-melting love song, especially in harsh times like ours. ‘I Will Always Love You’ will not only take you on a romantic trip inside Treakle’s world but will also light the sparks of nostalgia.

Everything about the track screams ‘good old 1960s’ – from the playful dialogue between the guitars, the soft drums and the vibey bass line to the intimate vocal performance. The production also contributes to the overall warmth of the piece, however, it’s perfectly balanced between clean and colorful sound so every piece of the arrangement feels in its right place.

While writing this we had the song on repeat for probably an hour, but why not hit that play button again, we think you should do that too.
