‘In My Heart’ was written by California-born and Iowa-residing songwriter Clark Ford. Only a quick glimpse at the super beautiful artwork of the epic 15-track album and you know a great and long musical trip is ahead. ‘In My Heart’ shines bright with that special and human thing that only great country music has – pure sincerity. What Clark Ford has written is music everybody can relate to. His lyrics are personal and honest, the music is rememberable and light as a night breeze.

There’s definitely no fillers on this record, but there are certainly tracks that you’ll be having on repeat for a long time. Opener ‘I’m Looking At You’, ‘Love Transcends’ and ‘Unconditionally’ feature warm female vocals and sometimes playful, sometimes spacey guitar work. ‘I’m Not a Bad Guy’ is definitely your new self-motivation anthem while ‘You Live In Me’ will make the toughest dude shed a tear. Clark Ford did a great job with the tracklist as well. Male and female vocals take turns throughout the album making it sound really organic, varying, almost as you’re listening to two people having a dialogue about the same life we’re all living.

Every aspect of ‘In My Heart’ is perfect. It’s a skillfully crafted album on all fronts – music, arrangements, lyrics, and production. The only thing the album needs is a long summer drive towards a beautiful sunset.
