“An End to All” by Bredd will leave you asking for more of it

“An End to All” by Bredd is not a new record, it actually takes us back in 2016. Written by Italian singer-songwriter and musician Raffaele Pane, it’s a short but emotional journey in the realms of pop-rock. In just four tracks Bredd creates a beautiful and sincere atmosphere that carries and conveys a vast range of emotions. Starting with the beautiful piano piece “Unknown” the release doesn’t spare us the drama… or should we say melancholy? When “So Alive” kicks in you know you’re in for a great fix of alternative sounding rock. The record is introvert but still has an edge as every rock release should do. It offers beautifully written melodies, memorable vocal lines, and its production is not too pompous but definitely does the job.

We usually spare the name-dropping but “An End to All” has a great InMe vibe. It maybe even feels slightly as a calmer version of Chevelle. We really appreciate what these bands did to alternative rock music and can’t skip mentioning them in order to better guide you in the music of Bredd. The record ends almost as it started – with the piano-dominated “Divided”. This time the keys are accompanied by multi-layers of Raffaele’s voice and this combination makes for a very dramatic closing piece.

“An End to All” clocks in less than 20 minutes and that’s our only issue with it. The record just leaves you asking for more. Well, you can always hit play again, at least until Bredd is back with some new music.
